• Disease, Immune System Failure, and Death: critters make millions of people sick every year. Their contact can spread diseases to humans, many of which can be fatal. Their feces dust, urine crystals, hair & dander (skin cells) cause disease transmission asthma, allergies, inflammation, and immune system failure.
• Fires and Costly Electrical Repairs: rodents and animals [including rats & mice, raccoons, bats, etc] instinctively gnaw on objects like electrical wires. this causes expensive repairs and can cause electrical fires. It is estimated that a substantial number of fires start with exposed wiring caused by rats and mice.
• Water Damage and Costly Plumbing Repairs and Mold Remediation: critters all need water. They often locate plastic plumbing and gnaw into them causing significant flooding and very costly repairs due to water damage and mold remediation.
• AC Duct Penetration and Costly AC Repairs: critters chew into ducts. Once in their droppings and urine dry up and blow into your breathing air, causing your power bills to rise sharply, and can destroy your AC Unit (avg. cost $6-$8,000 to replace). And there is nothing worse than when critters die in the ducts, the smell is unbelievable.
• Structural Damage: rodents and Animals often damage structural supports, roofs, flashing, drywall, carpeting you name it, they don't discriminate.
• Social Judgement: people fear rats and mice for good reason. they carry diseases, cause major damage to your property, and are just plain gross. No one wants to be the "rat house or building".
• Parasitic Infestation: critters bring with them fleas, ticks, and mites (which are notorious vectors of disease transmission). Rodents and animals are depositing mites, fleas, and ticks everywhere to wait for another live host to infect. Which, in turn, can cause diseases.
